Digital systems
shaped by culture and structure

I design digital systems for institutions and knowledge-driven organisations where content matters, complexity is unavoidable and clarity needs to last.
Web design and information architecture for content-heavy platforms, built for governance and long-term coherence.

Structure before interface. Meaning before form.

My approach focuses on governance, editorial clarity and long-term coherence, not trends, redesigns or short-term optimisation.
If your goal is short-term growth metrics, I'm not the right fit.

About

I didn’t leave engineering to escape systems. I left because I wasn’t interested in building systems that had nothing to say.

My work sits at the intersection of structure, culture and education. I design systems that make complexity legible, sustain meaning over time and support real decision making.

Cultural and educational contexts shaped the way I think. Content matters. Decisions accumulate. Systems need to hold discourse, not just functionality.

System design and
implementation

Information architecture and SEO

I don't just organize categories; I build the structural logic and taxonomies that allow a system to scale. I implement SEO as an architectural requirement to ensure institutional knowledge is indexable and authoritative.

Scalable interfaces

I build modular design systems and semantic code. My output is not a static mockup, but a resilient framework designed to be maintained by teams and survive cycles of technical change.

Digital governance

Execution is only as good as its maintenance. I implement rules and workflows that protect the system's integrity, enforcing consistency by design to prevent structural technical debt.

Systems

These are the layers I work with when designing digital systems meant to evolve without collapsing.

  • Information architecture
  • Content and editorial systems
  • Governance models
  • Search behaviour
  • Design systems
  • Performance and accessibility

One expression of this approach can be seen in the international institution case, where structure, governance and search were designed as a single framework.

Cases

These cases explore the same question in different contexts: how systems hold meaning, make decisions and evolve over time.

The conditions change. The principles don’t.

International institution

Designing structure inside a large organisation with formal governance, multiple stakeholders and long-term infrastructure.

Sigueleyendo

Designing a digital publishing platform and editorial system for long form reading and discovery.

WeArt Festival

Designing a distributed cultural system that operated independently before becoming institutionally recognised.
